The Apple Health software team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to work on new health initiatives for Apple. Health software is a critical business that sits alongside the enormous iPhone and iPad businesses where engineering excellence is inspired. Do you love taking on big challenges without precedent? In this role, you’ll help uphold Apple’s high data privacy, ethical and corporate standards by providing project management leadership for health data governance and study management. You will need experience with system software and infrastructure fundamentals, proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team to support ground-breaking products and services in the health space.

• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to understand, define and document data governance requirements • Drive defining/refining data governance processes and identify opportunities to innovate as well as streamline/standardize • Develop and implement a change management strategy and act as a champion for the data governance process • Establish data governance documentation and ensure it is comprehensive and maintained (current and relevant) • Manage data governance board meetings, including driving the agenda, capturing meeting notes and following up on action items • Facilitate the study review process, including maintaining a record of all study requests with accurate status • Track and manage study approvals and exceptions, ensuring exceptions have appropriate mitigation plans • Develop and implement a process to audit data governance compliance • Organize training sessions and track participation • Complete study configuration tasks • Effectively and consistently communicate status • Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and issues quickly and effectively

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in a related discipline (e.g. EE, ME, etc.) required.
