The Operations Engineering Sustainment Manager is responsible for supporting device monitoring, inventory, changing management, processes’ and systems integration. You will lead the Operations Engineering team and be the primary operations interface to the core product development team, software, test and other functional organizations within Apple. As the owner of the product, either through direct involvement and/or influence, you will ensure successful operations and day to day device management. • Oversee a team of direct reports, in support of systems integration and manage day to day operations of new devices, to include: data collection, programatic safety requirements, training and engineering field testing/validation of the prototype and prototype systems. • Ensure day to day operations comply with Apple operational and safety guidelines. When necessary, work with the appropriate teams to create new guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. • Provide solid documentation and metrics that allows performance and quality to be tracked over time.  • Ensure secure delivery of sensitive devices and associated data. • Develop creative solutions to allow for discrete development operations. • Gather and focus diverse cross-functional teams’ requirements and implement procedures to capture required data • Work to build device management solutions and tools for Apple devices to allow for continuous remote monitoring. • Work with Apple's platform and technology teams to understand and perform operational and integration testing throughout device usage. • Provide periodic performance and strategy updates to senior management. • Look to solve problems rather than report on them.

Education & Experience

Bachelors in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Masters degree (MS or MBA) a plus.
