Apple Maps is one of the world's largest mapping platforms, serving billions of requests each week. The platform supports not only the Maps app on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, CarPlay, and Mac, but also many third-party apps used by millions of customers around the world. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Program Manager to join the Maps Program Management team and focus on getting the Maps data to the highest quality standards. The Data Program team is responsible for ensuring the collection, processing, delivery and availability of the most critical Maps data, and for the supporting data platforms. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, thrives in a large cross-functional organisation, is resourceful and organised, is comfortable handling ambiguity, and pays extra attention to details. In this role, you will keep your eyes on the vision and your hands in the details. You'll be responsible for stakeholder consensus, design, planning, prioritisation, building and shipping. Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Program Management experience with consumer-facing products.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, emotional intelligence.

Maps Data Program Managers are engaged with all aspects of the project from requirements analysis through product definition, design, engineering, QA, deployment, monitoring and maintenance. And we get to work with remarkable people across Apple. As a Program Manager on our team, you will be responsible for a broad portfolio of work. Specifically, you will: - Deliver the right set of features for our customers, on time and with high quality. - Partner with each of our Engineering teams to guide design and evolution of our product - Drive all aspects of the software development process: determine requirements, scope work, develop a plan, generate a schedule, craft a team, execute, and ship. - Work multi-functionally across Maps and Apple to use the collective skills and intelligence of our people. - Make critical decisions and trade-offs to ensure your projects are successful. - Resolve conflicts, seek and unblock issues. - Communicate with every level of our organization, from individual contributors to executives. - Demonstrate high integrity and strong values, every single day.

Education & Experience

BS/MS in CS/EE or equivalent experience
