SUMMARY: The iPhone Product Operations SWE team is seeking a highly motivated software developer to help imagine and invent technology used to perfect the next generation iOS devices. Our environment fosters product innovation, rapid iteration, and a liberating amount of autonomy. Our development stack is largely Objective-C and Swift for special Apple iOS and MacOS apps but also involves a wide variety of technologies including low-level and server-side programming. Key Qualifications

  • High attention to detail
  • Strongly empathetic with the ability to partner with broad variety of internal partner teams and clients
  • Python experience
  • Application development with C, C++, or java experience
  • Experience with data persistence and manipulation (sql, nosql, Splunk, etc.)
  • Experience or strong interest in Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning (college coursework, certificates, experience)
  • In-depth understanding of Objective-C, Swift iOS experience
  • Up-to-date experience with UIKit, and the iOS SDK
  • Knowledge of Cocoa and Cocoa Touch Frameworks


DESCRIPTION: You will be collaborating across a broad spectrum of teams, including Apple SW Development, Apple Hardware, various factory and testing teams to design and develop innovative products and software solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existing software. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Creative thinking about highly complex challenges at scale - Anticipating the needs of our end customers often before they do - Capture requirements from business users - Developing scalable software - Create tools, dashboards and large scale databases used for Apple’s Operations organization. - Perform code reviews and redesign existing applications for better user experience involving performance and usability. - Presenting your work in a collaborative team environment - Develop unit test plans and work closely with QA team to help develop integration plans and help debug production issues - Utilize Git, Git Flow, and bug tracking systems in day to day development processes - Provide constructive feedback for testability and suitable solutions relying on data to support technical decisions - Some travel will be required (10-15%)

Education & Experience
