Apple’s Real Estate & Development organization is looking for an onsite Electrician to work on installation and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment. Installation of electrical supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and electrical metering.

Key Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible journey level electrical experience; OR, Completion of a four-year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance and two (2) years electrical experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Ability to perform all work using the proper personnel protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to perform all applicable safety policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Self starter & customer service orientated.


Experienced with industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools. Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Ability to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures. Install & maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes per Country, State and Federal codes. Experience maintaining & operating critical infrastructure, UPS’s, PDU’s, generators, fuel storage, switchgear, transfer switches, static switches, leak detection systems. Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of Data Center critical infrastructure systems and equipment in order to recognize system issues, respond to operational and emergency situations. Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as VOM, amperage, power quality meter and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Education & Experience

College degree or technical training or equivalent work experience required.
