All of this content requires a reliable, world-class, large-scale, automated content ingestion system and digital asset repository, in order to be efficiently delivered from content providers and prepared for distribution to customers.

Key Qualifications

  • - Track record of building and managing high-performance SRE teams
  • - Experience with distributed systems in a production operations environment
  • - Advanced experience with programming languages (Golang, Python, Java, C++)
  • - Experience building and managing mission critical systems on top of modern cloud services
  • - Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge
  • - Track record of improving service reliability and efficiency whilst lowering operational cost
  • - Experience with SRE goals, processes and culture
  • - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
  • - Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time with high quality


You will build and run the Apple services that ingests and processes content destined for the iTunes, iOS and Mac App Stores around the world. You’ll ensure media consumed by millions of customers a day is processed quickly, reliably and efficiently! YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE - Building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation - Partnering closely with development teams to design, build, deploy, support and monitor new and existing services - Measurement and optimization of system performance and availability - Capacity planning and management - Exploring and evaluating new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
