Apple’s Keynote team is looking for a software engineer to join us and write wonderful software for macOS, iOS, and the web. Our team is passionate about shipping great user experiences as part of a large project, and we want to find engineers like you who feel the same way.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, Javascript, Java, Python, Ruby.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excitement and passion for building amazing consumer products.
  • Willingness to ask for help and learn from others.
  • Experience in iOS or macOS application development or working with large code bases are a plus.


As a member of the Keynote team you will collaborate with developers and designers to develop new features that are used by our customers around the world. Your contributions will have a major impact on well-established but dynamic software used and loved by millions of people whose presentations range from school reports to Apple’s own keynote events. Keynote engineers regularly address large technical challenges, and the team is experienced at introducing new members to our code in a supportive environment. You will work with your teammates to improve our existing code base, implement ambitious new features, and influence the direction of Keynote. You will learn alongside many experienced iWork engineers, and should feel comfortable picking up new languages and platforms. In addition to creating exciting consumer-facing software, you will contribute to code reviews, automated testing and infrastructure changes to help us create great software.

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
