We are looking for an experienced Technical Content Manager to join the Apple TV App Partner Operations team to be a part of defining how TV is watched. The successful applicant will be proficient in the language of content operations for movies, TV shows and sports while having the experience working with video services and content systems to ensure TV App partner content is available and displaying as is expected by Apple’s customers. This is a hands-on, external-facing position responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day quality of the TV App is always there. The role requires attention to detail, curiosity, organization skills, a self-starter attitude, a bias towards innovation, relationship-building skills, and an ability to remain flexible in dynamic environments and tight timelines.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant media and video industry experience in metadata, streaming video apps, content delivery, linear television, and external partner management
  • Passion for TV shows, movies, sports and other video content.
  • Experience with media metadata and video.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to expertly communicate internally along with representing Apple to TV app partners.
  • Experience working with large, complex XML data sets tied to video content.
  • Technical skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
  • Strong presentation and spreadsheet skills.

Description

This role will be responsible for: Managing the ongoing delivery of content by our TV app partners. Ensuring the quality of the customer experience with our partner’s content across the Apple ecosystem. Working with internal business and editorial teams to ensure titles are available in the TV App. Building relationships with TV App content partners and providers to quickly identify issues and help resolve them promptly. Helping to bring improvements and greater efficiencies to partner processes for the delivery of content. Diagnosing and identifying patterns for a problem in order for it to be solved by our partners and /or internal teams. Defining new internal features and processes to enhance and optimize partner performance.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience in the entertainment industry and/or media operations environment.
