We are seeking a hardworking and experienced product manager to lead the App Store’s vision for Trust & Safety. You will oversee the policies, practices, and solutions that address customer and developer trust and safety on the App Store. Build the vision for moderation and safety, anti-fraud and anti-abuse efforts, and identity on the App Store with cross-functional partners in engineering, legal, business, fraud, product design, and customer support. Core responsibilities include defining new opportunities and features, and success criteria, launching and marketing new features, and optimizing them over time. Key Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience successfully leading the development of products and policies, managing operations or internal tools for content moderation, abuse and fraud detection
  • Ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly cross-functional projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions and discussions with ease, and ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify key opportunities and measure impact; proven track record of working with machine learning teams to define and assess performance metrics
  • Extraordinary oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to executives and non-technical partners
  • Very strong storytelling and Keynote presentation skills

Description

- Deliver on the App Store’s commitment to trust and safety by driving features that address both developer and customer needs - Define and drive consensus on product vision, strategy, and ongoing optimization for the App Store’s trust and safety features across cross-functional teams globally, their faithful implementation and launch - Develop, assess and adopt risk management features to minimize friction for customers while maximizing transparency - Advocate for the prioritization of impactful features on the engineering roadmap and key resource commitments among cross-functional teams - Support the development of internal enforcement processes, including moderation, escalation, and feedback and reporting - Interact with company executives to build product vision for new features, report on their performance, and provide domain expertise - Have expert knowledge of the field, including competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategies, including privacy-focused product approaches

Education & Experience

BS degree, JD or MS/MBA a plus
