In this role you will utilize your skills as a BMS HW qualification manager to lead a hardworking team of engineers and technicians to verify and validate battery packs for next generation consumer electronics.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience developing and leading employees
  • 5+ years experience in BMS, mix of QA & Development
  • 10+ years overall experience in analog and/or power electronics design
  • Strong EE fundamentals in electronic circuit design/development with microcontroller-based embedded system
  • Good knowledge of inter-module communications protocols (I2C, SMBus, SPMI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques to support proposed solutions
  • Experience with Mass production
  • Must effectively and independently manage multiple projects and workflows
  • Ability to articulate design issues and path to resolution both verbally and with documentation
  • Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell, Unix, MATLAB, etc.) for test automation and data analysis desired

Description

- Lead and manage a talented team of quality-focused engineers and technicians in a fast-paced environment - Translate use case and features into detailed plans, develop schedules, deliver solutions in predictable, timely manner - Work with multi-functional teams to assess risks, understand coverage needs and priorities - Work with BMS HW and FW Engineering to build, develop, and deploy tests & solutions - Strengthen team by hiring and retaining top-flight engineering talent - Enable team culture that embraces & leads change, motivates development of simple solutions to complex problems - Generate critical metrics - Conducts investigations and prepares reports to support investigations.

Education & Experience

BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering
