Reseller Operations influences & drives our Reseller, Education & Enterprise partners to plan, optimize & execute the inventory needed to fulfill end customer demand. We also support our external partners operational needs along with the Apple Sales strategy. In this role, reporting to the Director of WW Reseller Operations, you will lead the global Reseller Operations strategy for increasing sales in the channel, decreasing cost, improving collaboration, delivering insight, ensuring NPI excellence & supporting our partners & sales strategies. Your leadership will impact Apple by 1. Leading the Global Reseller Operations readiness for New Product Introductions. 2. Leading the Global Reseller Operations capability & initiative roadmap responsible for delivering partner facing & internal solutions that support thousands of Reseller partners. 3. Weekly presentations to the VP of Sales & Operations Support on key performance indicators, business trends, initiative updates & planned partner influencing actions.
- Experienced supply chain professional with planning, demand fulfillment, inventory management, forecasting or sales operations experience.
- The candidate must combine outstanding analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills.
- Innovative problem solver who can resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways
- Ability to exert tactful influence in a matrixed organization.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills are required. Must be able to influence across all levels of the organization including executive management.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be managing a team responsible for: Working with WW Readiness, Supply Demand Management, Logistics, Marketing, Credit and other cross functional teams to craft the NPI strategy for the channel and then partner with the Regional teams to execute flawlessly. New Product Introductions are central to Apple success, and we take great pride in our ability to quickly & effectively launch products with our Reseller partners. 1-2 WWRO New Product Introduction Leads will report to you. Leading our Global RO Innovation Team that drives innovative processes and tools used by the Global Reseller team to influence partners, optimize inventory, improve supply chain capabilities, gather insight & decrease cost. Your Innovation team will work closely with the regions, project management & IS&T to: Understand current challenges and anticipate future business needs including new processes, tools, and overall management systems Represent business users to solve current & future challenges. Influence decisions and inspire change across a variety of partners. Partner with training teams to enable quick & successful adoption. Your role will be to prioritize & lead these various programs & projects to achieve the depth needed to drive meaningful results, while also staying connected across the breadth of the organization. Lead our long term planning cadence for Reseller Operations including: Forecasting our long term credit requirements & partnering with our Finance teams to secure the credit uplifts to ensure the business needs are meet. Partnering with Logistics on Cost to Serve initiatives, packaging proposal changes, lead time changes and other partnership opportunities that enable lower lead time to customers & cost savings. Leading the WWRO Quarterly trends publications summarizing partner behavior & trends across various metrics including assortments, in-stocks, AOP order recommendation intake, inventory levels, open-to-buy budgets, returns, compliance, order book lengths and more. Your team will use these insights to drive strategic internal & external changes that enables Apple to achieve its financial goals & outstanding customer experience expectations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years leadership experience with proven supply chain experience in a planning, fulfillment or sales planning organization.
