Battery Systems is looking for a Battery Lab Program Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and tracking test setups across different teams within the battery group. The program manager will help coordinate the process flow for the lab, data systems readiness, metrology verification, and test protocols to ensure that the testing is carried out according to expectations of the cell and battery engineering teams. Additional duties will include coordination of the teams in data integration from multiple labs.

Key Qualifications

  • Exceptional organization skills required
  • Experienced with PM tools (MS Project, Fastrack Schedule, Omniplan etc.)
  • Ability to track multiple projects at one time
  • Preferred experience with test protocols, testing processes, MES systems
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills to keep all stakeholders aligned
  • Able to effectively contribute to a dynamic and often fast-paced, high-pressure work environment


•Manage process improvement task lists, consolidate updates in meeting •Receive test inputs on new investigations •Establish requirements for test readiness based on engineering input •Work with planner to establish resources for testing (channels, connections, people) •Communicate requirements for Data Systems and Equipment team •Review lab process with managers, test engineers •Establish schedule to meet testing requirements, communicate to team •Track readiness process and communicate to all stake holders •Track lab readiness for data integration, including in-region labs •Track deviations in testing process from lab or engineering side •Proactively work to resolve problems that arise related to new testing protocols •Elevate concerns as appropriate to ensure timelines are met •Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite testing to meet production schedules and customer expectation •Support lab installations as needed •Establish standard PM processes for setting up tests

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree, plus 2 years of related experience
