The Collaboration & Productivity team works hard to provide our internal employees with information, tools, and support throughout their careers at Apple. We focus on building productivity and collaboration tools, and provide information, training, and support needed to use those tools effectively. Using data to drive end user efficiency, our eclectic team manages clients, provides internal services, creates applications, and acts as the voice of IS&T to the company. The IS&T Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering multiple training programs and projects across the Collaboration & Productivity organization, and Apple. This role is key to the continued growth and success of employee on-boarding and development. The ideal candidate possesses a strong customer focus, exceptional facilitation skills, displays creativity and agility, handles ambiguity with ease, and understands the core strengths that make Apple’s products easy to use.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in a professional environment with much of that time in a technical training role
  • Expert knowledge of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS
  • Advanced skills with Keynote, Numbers, and Pages
  • Outstanding interpersonal communications and customer service skills
  • Excellent English-language oral and written communications skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Able to deliver multiple projects of varying lengths, while meeting quality standards and deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, highly-demanding, constantly changing environment with a customer-service focus
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team; and, be able to deliver constructive feedback
  • Self-motivating with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Understanding of adult learning theory
  • Understanding of adult learning assessment and trend analysis
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced understanding of Helpdesks
  • Understanding of Instructional Design, and lifecycle of training

Description

The IS&T Trainer has a passion for ongoing learning and development, and actively participates in a global team of technical trainers. Helps create and maintain technical documentation. Designs and develops training materials for in-person and distance-learning, including web-based content, train-the-trainer materials, and other training assets. Is able to facilitate single session trainings and curriculum based trainings for corporate employees (virtually and in person). Can manage on-boarding, and communications with stakeholders and training managers.

Education & Experience

Bachelors in Educational Technology, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
