They gather training requirements and assess training needs by working with partners including: product specifications, product definition, quality assurance, and production teams. Key Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Learning industry product management background preferred
  • GIS/geospatial experience
  • Experience working with a distributed workforce
  • Agile - Scrum Certification
  • PMP Certification


The L&D Program Manager works with vendor/contractor teams to convert training requirements into training materials. Training materials include documentation, eLearnings and Keynotes. The role requires skills in effective communication, organization, and an understanding of training standard methodologies. Additionally, this role requires engagement with maps data, and an understanding of GIS is desired. This role also undertakes projects aimed at improving internal training processes, and driving deeper understanding of maps initiatives. This includes scaling new Maps features and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to allow production teams to work at maximal efficiency and quality. Lastly, they act as a primary representative for their layers, internally and across Apple.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
