Apple Inc.’s Apple TV+ division is seeking an experienced negotiator to join its Business Affairs department as Executive. Reporting into the Head of Business Affairs for Apple TV+, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience negotiating all deals associated with premium original content at a streaming service, television network, and/or studio.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a TV/SVOD Business Affairs and/or entertainment law firm
  • Deep understanding of TV/SVOD transactions including network licensing, co-productions, talent and development deals, IP acquisition/chain-of-title, contingent compensation structures, and agency package arrangements
  • Strong familiarity with guild agreements and evaluating production budgets
  • Excellent analytical and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully work with a range of personalities and styles
  • Strong industry relationships and in-depth negotiation and drafting experience
  • Familiarity with kids, animation, international production, and/or theatrical motion picture dealmaking a plus


Negotiate and structure a high volume of complex deals related to Apple's original content slate, including scripted pilot/series, documentaries, specials, ancillary content, etc. Rigorously analyze deal structures and advise on strategy, costs, talent relations and other information relating to the development, production, and licensing of original content Work closely with internal teams, particularly creative, finance, marketing, and legal affairs departments, to set Apple's content strategy, financial plan, and programming calendar Act as a business liaison between Apple and the creative talent for original content Draft and negotiate short-form deal memos and term sheets, review long-form agreements for accuracy, lead all aspects of internal fulfillment of contractual commitments Provide general business counsel in a rapidly changing business environment

Education & Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) Active member of the California State Bar and/or MBA strongly preferred
