The AppleCare Finance team is closely aligned with the business and is one of the best business partnering organizations inside of Apple. This role is to lead and provide guidance to the WW AppleCare Service planning & procurement, Service inventory and Service Freight and Duty spend by demonstrating in-depth financial analysis, reporting and metrics. This role will also enhance the tools, and provide ideas to streamline data gathering and improve reporting efficiency.

Key Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, possess very strong Excel and financial modeling skills, leadership and management skills, but will also bring with them:
  • Experience of business partnering at all levels especially around influencing business decisions, delivering financial results, and financial analysis; previous experience working with senior management preferred
  • Familiarity with Data visualization tool such as Tableau, and proven ability to handle large amount of data
  • Past experience of improving efficiency and business process enhancement
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication as well as presentation skills
  • Consistent record of collaboration with cross-functional teams amongst various groups with contradicting priorities
  • Experience with Purchasing, Planning, Commodity Management, Account Payables, and various internal Finance teams a plus
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred
  • 6 - 8 years relevant work experience, with increasing responsibilities


The function involves partnering with WW AC Global Service Planning & Procurement team and Global Service Supply Chain team to provide financial support on Cost and related key matrices. - Prepare and present the WW quarterly financial updates to GSPP/GSSC partners including spend analysis, cost tracking & informational sharing regarding various initiatives - Collaborate with AC WW planning & procurement teams on projects, cost savings initiatives, and provide finance guidance on Supply Chain related issues. - Working closely with Accounts Payable and Purchasing organizations resolving outstanding issues and balances. Manage escalation on Account Receivable activities related to AppleCare Buy/Sell. - Provide guidance on Standard Cost Setting based on related info, and continuous monitoring/analysis on the Variances actuals - Mange monthly procurement spend as well as variances forecasts; review/approve inventory PO - In-depth PPV analysis including Purchase variances, Repair variances, and internal transfer variances - Inventory and E&O management, including overseeing the balance of the reserves and root-cause the changes of the reserve - Manage SOX control related to Service inventory, cycle count and procurement. Work closely with regional finance and inventory control. Drive discussions with both internal and external auditors. - Regular monitoring of component Royalty payment tools - Manage SAP Custom Valuation Methodology and provide support to regional finance and trade/compliance during country specific audits. - Manage AppleCare Freight, duty and Tariff forecast/close. - Quarterly Close responsibilities, JV and account reconciliation approval - Mentoring a team of 4 analyst

Education & Experience

Preferred candidate will be a CPA with a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
