Key Qualifications

  • Strong C++ and Python programming skills
  • Excellent analytical skills to test performance and debug issues across protocol stack layers
  • Experience with RTOS embedded development and/or network emulators is a plus, but not required

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Protocol Engineer experienced in developing and launching products to come help our team develop our next generation of wireless products. This position requires directly related experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP), all layers of a wireless communications stack (PHY, MAC, etc), as well as algorithm development skills. This role requires a strong understanding of HW/SW DSP structures and partitions, hardware/software co-design, as well as firmware implementation experience. You will work in a small team and will engage with vendors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-performance best-in-class wireless communications systems, including: implementation and customization of DSP firmware; testing and debugging real-time PHY/MAC code; proposing optimum solutions for better performance; investigating future cellular technologies.

Education & Experience

BS, Masters or Ph.D. in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
