The Apple Maps Management team within the Internet Software & Services group is looking for a skilled, experienced, and highly motivated manager responsible for building and scaling Maps data partnerships. This position will also play a key role in developing partner strategies for new and existing Apple Maps products, and help lead the global go-to-market strategy planning, research, identification, qualification, engagement and development of a partner eco-system, customer service platform solution partners as well as large enterprise brands for Maps services. Candidates with a deep knowledge of and relationships within Americas, regional & local Maps data providers, customer service platform providers and brands will be given preference.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leading location based product or service marketing, sales or business development and partnership efforts in the US and CA
  • Proven track record in in developing and scaling markets with channel partners, developing new partnerships, executing on strategic new product initiatives and effective marketing communication planning and execution, based on in-depth understanding of each regional market’s needs
  • Fundamental understanding of digital maps data layers and local geo-based services
  • Experience in conducting business negotiations and executing data licensing agreements
  • Strong ability to plan and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
  • Passion for quality and details. Persuasive with facts and numbers
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish and / or Chinese is a plus
  • Creative, problem-solving approach with developed multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced highly technical environment


- Analyze and define Maps data and sourcing channel needs for US, CA and Latin America - Create and roll out strategies for sourcing and managing data acquisition for Apple Maps products - Develop go-to-market plans and evangelize new business, product and technical programs - Drive high awareness & adoption of Maps data sourcing & management tools in Americas - Identify, build and manage a partnership eco system with hundreds of local data providers in Americas - Work with Biz Dev, Finance & Legal to help negotiate and execute key data licensing agreements - Define, track, and report on achieved and planned data quality and coverage targets in Americas - Manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables

Education & Experience

- BA or BS required. MBA or JD/MBA preferred
