We are looking for an outgoing professional with high attention to detail, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to join the Apple tv+ finance team and will work closely with the Development Finance Lead. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to payment processing, monthly forecasting, quarterly reporting, and ad-hoc projects to help drive operational improvements. As this is a startup initiative within Apple Inc., the right person for this role will be hands on and should be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while juggling multiple priorities.

Key Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of finance or accounting experience required
  • Entertainment experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel/Word preferred
  • Independently organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks with set deadlines
  • Exceptionally detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Overall ability to understand and retain new information quickly and a drive toward continuous improvement
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work comfortably with high levels of ambiguity and complexity


Work closely with the Development Finance Lead to initiate payments, manage invoices, gather payment support, and manually track the status of a growing number of development assets Track delivery materials for all licensed and Apple-owned programming and coordinate with Business Affairs and Creative teams to ensure internal consistency prior to payment outlay Work with internal Apple teams to complete talent start paperwork and vendor setups Oversee master data creation and maintenance, including partnering with IT and our global financial shared services to resolve any issues that may arrive in setup, approvals, and routing Prepare journal entries by compiling, analyzing, and substantiating financial transactions Complete payroll for term deal and writer agreements by coordinating between internal groups and an external third-party payroll provider, reviewing check requests, and approving payment calculations Provide regular updates on the status of open invoices and any outstanding Development items Aid in the preparation of consolidated management reporting including monthly forecasts, long-range planning, quarterly actuals and balance sheet reviews Develop a strong understanding of the general ledger, allowing you to perform periodic internal audits, ensure proper controls are in place, and resolve any accounting discrepancies that may arise Establish new reporting and analytical tools for executive teams as new business needs arise

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
