The Apple Health software team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to work on new health initiatives for Apple. Health software is a critical business that sits alongside the enormous iPhone and iPad businesses where engineering excellence is inspired. You will need experience with system software and infrastructure fundamentals, proven leadership capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team to support ground-breaking products and services in the health space.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a quickly growing team, managing a portfolio of projects in support of Apple Health research and development. You will partner with engineering teams who develop and support the platform and services upon which all of our future health programs are built. You will be responsible for driving complex, cross-functional projects that serve as a critical foundation for the products we build in health. We believe researchers and data scientists should be able to focus on the hardest problems from our sensors to healthcare: to enable this, the platform we are building enables high performance computing, while maintaining the highest degree of security and privacy. Health research is a critical component in shaping upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day. In this position you will work closely with engineers, data scientists, QA and a variety of cross-functional teams to successfully deliver best-in-class secure and scalable systems. Your ability to develop strong relationships with both clients and stakeholders as well as key partners across Legal, Privacy Engineering, Compliance and Information Security are critical to your success. You will be tasked with driving projects such as: Building software to enable data scientists and researchers to produce performant, robust, and reproducible analyses, models, and data products. Delivering scalable services for health software while maintaining a relentless focus on performance, usability, security and quality. Automating solutions and optimizing outcomes focusing on data/backend engineering, continuous integration and continuous deployment in a fast-changing world of software delivery. Driving data platform and pipeline delivery advancements in support of Health research and development.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven experience in a related discipline (e.g. EE, ME, etc.) required.
