We are looking to hire an extraordinary individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills proven in an ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams. You'll manage a Site Reliability Engineering team building and managing a portfolio of critical services, empowering teams across Software Engineering and beyond to develop the software products that delight millions of Apple customers. You should be a self starter and motivated with a willingness to take a flexible approach to problems. Responsibilities will include * Directly manage application SREs * Adopt and apply best practices to services in your portfolio * Keep users, key stakeholders, and leadership informed through regular reporting and communications * Lead your team in reducing toil by identifying areas of automation * Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams * Cultivate and grow an inclusive and diverse team of SREs

You’ll be expected to dive into the details while aligning with strategic decisions. Education & Experience

Additional Requirements

  • * Prior experience as an engineering manager, SRE, software engineer, or system administration
  • * Shown ability to organize and lead rapid co-ordinated response efforts
  • * Experience managing large scale, on-premises applications
