Health Sensing HW - EE Architect
Santa Clara Valley (Cupertino), California, United States
The Health Sensing team develops ground breaking health sensors that are central to helping our customers live a healthier lifestyle. You will play a key role in specifying, developing, characterizing and validating health sensing features. You should be familiar with non-invasive sensing technologies such as PPG (photoplethysmogram), product integration and manufacturing technologies related to sensors.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience and consistent track record in sensing system hardware engineering.
- Experience in architecture, design, characterization, and validation of sensing systems that includes theory of operation, signal processing, fabrication, packaging and design trade-offs.
- Fundamental knowledge and experience in physics, mechanical, electrical, and material science engineering, and manufacturing technology relevant for sensor fabrication.
Expect to identify, create, and document new sensing metrics. Work multi-functionally to identify critical performance parameters and validate them across all relevant use cases. Author and publish specifications and other documentation needed to support the health sensor development process. - Knowledge of optoelectronic systems is preferred. - Experience with high volume mass production in is a plus. - up to 10% travel required (this % may vary by team)
Education & Experience
- PhD degree in engineering plus 2 years of relevant industry experience, - Bachelor/MS degree in engineering with Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
