As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient wireless system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and deftly handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in ASIC low power micro architecture definition and design of complex SoCs.
  • RTL development experience, preferably using Verilog and System Verilog.
  • Expertise in digital design flow tools for simulation, synthesis and timing analysis.
  • Proficient in low power concept definition and power analysis/optimization tools.
  • Exposure to scripting in Shell, Perl and Python


Close collaboration with the system and design teams in understanding the system requirements to identify micro architecture solution space. Definition and implementation of concepts for boot, DVFS, rail control, power control and clock generation. Definition and implementation of concepts for CPU systems, connectivity, memories and peripherals. Build and lead the definition of relevant power use cases and their implementation in verification environments. Provide power improvement suggestions and work with multi-functional teams to implement proposed power improvements.

Education & Experience
