Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Material Planning and Management team is the central Supply Planning function for Apple Data Centers. The team is responsible for generating and maintaining the supply signals necessary to support business demand. The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for driving and executing the Materials Requirements Plan (MRP) and that material deliveries are coordinated across functions to enable Operations teams to deploy and sustain Apple infrastructure. This team works collaboratively with multi-functional teams to secure operational excellence across multiple regions, uses insight and analytics to improve the supply chain process and develops innovative material strategies.

Description

This position is for an experienced Supply Planning Manager who will drive the performance of the Material Planning roles within our Materials Planning and Management Team. This person will apply data analysis and process mapping to drive the optimal inventory levels to support business growth and sustainment. This person will directly influence our procurement signal by working with Server Hardware Engineering and Network groups for manufacturing, testability and material composition, to drive for a responsive supply chains that is optimized for lowest costs, greater operational flexibility, regional fulfillment and highest quality of delivery. You will receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company goals and policies. Recommend changes to policies by establishing procedures that affect the immediate organization. As part of this group you will frequently interact with other cross functional leaders, customers, partners and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas and other company divisions or units. The individual often must lead a cooperative effort among multiple members of a project team. This role will manage a team of 4-6 individuals.

Education & Experience

BA/BS in Supply Chain or related field Masters degree in related field or MBA is a plus
