As the Games Team Lead, you’ll oversee the product portfolio for the App Store’s most popular category, games, and help create experiences that impact hundreds of millions of users worldwide. Spearhead features that drive the user experience and business, including games monetization and promotion, Apple Arcade, and integration with OS features. Build the vision to support unique gaming experiences on Apple platforms across mobile, desktop and living room alongside cross-functional partners in engineering, product design, and business. Core responsibilities include defining new opportunities and features, developing, launching and marketing new features, measuring their impact, on-going optimization, and problem solving challenges throughout the product lifecycle. Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading product development for a large mobile games portfolio in a senior role, experience with consumer digital services, content platforms, or mobile ecommerce a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; Proven track record of successful negotiation and working with many groups to achieve goals; thrives in highly collaborative projects, handles high stakes decisions with ease, and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Experience managing and expertly developing a team, overseeing a portfolio of multi-year projects toward completion
  • Ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify key opportunities and measure impact to drive improved customer experiences
  • Extraordinary oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to executives and non-technical partners
  • Very strong storytelling and Keynote presentation skills

Description

- Advance App Store games portfolio by defining and developing consensus on games product vision, strategy, and ongoing optimization for games features and services - Oversee the faithful execution of the product vision and strategy with cross-functional partners, from setting the direction and priority for focus areas, to shaping the marketing and press strategy to announce new features - Successfully advocate for the prioritization of impactful features on the engineering roadmap and key resource commitments among cross-functional teams - Interact with company executives to gain support for product vision for new features, report on improvements to the customer experience over time, and provide domain expertise. - Offer expert knowledge of the games industry, including competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategy, including privacy-focused product approaches. - Develop a corporate development strategy and suggests M&A activity as needed

Education & Experience

BS degree, JD or MS/MBA a plus
