Key Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of relevant experience Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data structures required (Oracle & Vertica strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Tableau Desktop & Tableau Prep Builder/Conductor skills required
  • Solid understanding of underlying technologies of Tableau (Hyper databases, Hyper API, server extracts, prep flows, Python libraries) strongly preferred
  • Linux, Python, REST API
  • Comfortable working with large datasets
  • Understanding of data science workflow preferred


•Build data warehouse to house data from various sources, including Oracle, MySQL, Vertica, and Web APIs •Develop and maintain ETL processes to populate the data warehouse •Deploy utility applications to Apple Cloud Infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes •Develop CI/CD process to automate software deployment •Develop and maintain complex Tableau dashboards, aggregating data from multiple data sources •Support Tableau developers by writing complex SQL queries and providing easily queryable datasets in the form of Tableau extracts and database views •Identify data requirements and work with software engineering team to build features in MES and BDMS to collect required data •Interface with technical teams—including DBA & IT—to ensure proper functioning of all data pipelines and health of data warehouse

Education & Experience

BS/MS in CS OR CE (MS Preferred)
