Retail FP&A is looking for an experienced Program/Project Manager to drive the adoption of the SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting Reporting) system to enable Apple Inc. to continue to provide new hardware and services solutions to its customers. This particular role will require the need to understand current business processes and systems to help influence and drive the future state of revenue accounting and reporting upon integration of RAR. It requires substantial cross-functional interaction across finance teams, Technical Accounting, Product Marketing, Sales Finance, IT, and other teams within Apple. A blend of business and technical acumen coupled with project management experience is vital for success in this role.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a high performance and fast-growing organization
  • Experience in project management and project documentation from initial design phase, testing and implementation, and post go-live support
  • Familiarity with revenue accounting for physical products and services solutions, multiple-element arrangements, and lease accounting
  • Extensive experience with and understanding of enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP, Essbase, Business Objects, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, dynamic, and rapidly evolving business environment
  • Ability to build effective business partnerships and influence decisions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail
  • Superb oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentations
  • Proven experience challenging and debating issues of importance while working towards the best possible outcome for customers and partners


This role will be global in scope as the SAP RAR implementation will be for all regions Retail / Apple Inc. is currently operates. It requires strong cross-collaboration with different teams in order to prepare the appropriate project documents, effectively and clearly communicate project status, manage project risk and provide post go-live support through the multiple phases of the project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure appropriate cross-functional engagement and collaboration with SMEs across the finance organization to build out scope and drive decision making Leverage financial and process knowledge to influence and prioritize project scope of the project Design, communicate, and document the project requirements which are inclusive of and not limited to: Business Requirements Document (BRD), accounting flows, quarter-close processing and reporting, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Provide ongoing updates to leadership and impacted stakeholders, surfacing key topics and core decision points

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
