Strategic Data Solutions is looking for a humble and influential leader who is passionate about working with a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to build and deliver exceptional machine learning products that help our organization scale in an effort to further mitigate fraud, reduce risk, optimize internal operations and processes, and improve our customer experience. You will design and develop solutions for strategic, complex, and cross-functional problems that do not neatly align under a particular business unit. Products and projects are strategic in nature, requiring a strong understanding of current processes, systems, data, policies, and future direction. You will oversee a global portfolio of products and projects and be responsible for all aspects of product features and functionality as well as developer and user experience.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of experience as a product manager, program manager, and/or project manager
  • 3+ yrs of experience as a product, program, or project manager in a data science/machine learning environment
  • Understanding of how to build, manage, and lead multi-department cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale international products and projects
  • Experience in understanding and discussing technical designs and opportunities with technical team members and partners
  • Exceptionally strong influence and communication skills (written and verbal), especially at the executive level
  • Must be highly autonomous and comfortable working in an ambiguous, continually-changing environment
  • Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization
  • Passionate about developer and customer experience and what we can do to improve it


Develop partnerships with key business leaders and executives across a variety of teams at Apple Collaborate with stakeholders to inform the product vision, strategy, features, backlog, and prioritization from concept to launch Identify new business opportunities and develop solutions that optimize impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, likelihood of success, and analytic risk Work in an Agile environment and continuously review business opportunities, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and articulate risks Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology Provide consistent updates to leadership and executives, making communication easy and transparent regarding product issues and decisions needed to be made Manage business critical, operational, and technical metrics across the organization Oversee the migration, adoption, and/or implementation of new features and functionality into partner teams Develop evaluation methods to assess product strengths and identify areas for improvement

Education & Experience

• BS or advanced degree in related field (Business, Analytics, etc)
