Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of analog chip design experience, leading design and integration efforts for high performance and high quality designs
  • Experience crafting high performance analog to digital converter (ADC), digital to analog converter (DAC), OPAMPs, high-speed SERDES, band gap reference
  • Experience with top level chip architecture, design and integration
  • Commitment to a rigorous design process and analytical approach which leads to high quality design
  • Experience modeling with Spectre/Spice/VerilogA/MATLAB/Verilog at circuit and block level to optimize for cost and power
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing and manufacturing high volume products
  • Experience in vendor technical management
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic displays, image quality, or graphics subsystems
  • Experience and working knowledge of modern digital design flow including: synthesis, static timing analysis, power estimation, clock and reset distribution, DFT, design validation, code coverage, mixed mode simulations
  • Knowledge of analog and digital chip physical design and layout
  • Ability to conduct experiments during silicon debug, capture and analyze data; and utilize scripting to support efficient handling of ATE data
  • Experience with use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, etc.


As a Display Silicon Architect responsible for the chip architecture and specification in a chip design, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of display silicon design: - Define and document the display silicon architecture and contribute to the architecture of the display sub-system - Analyze the display performance requirements and specify the detailed functional and performance requirements of custom display driver ICs - Lead discussions with team members to align on key requirements and performance tradeoffs of custom display driver ICs - Work with vendors and internal teams to review design implementation, simulation results, ATE and characterization results, and bench validation of custom silicon in display applications - Work with display and cross functional teams to define the roadmap for the next generation display silicon and display subsystems - Promote innovation and development of new technology to further enhance display performance and user experience
