Apple's Hardware Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful, energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) who will be responsible for managing key areas of Hardware Engineering programs with exposure to cross-functional teams and overseas vendors. Interface with Engineering Project Managers, Product Design, Worldwide Product Configuration Management, Finance, Operations and Contract Manufacturers to manage the risks associated with early manufacturing builds. Manage project-related communications. Drive configuration management activities; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional teams. Create Agile BOMs, manage project budget, submit purchase requisitions, maintain invoice tracking, posting goods receipts and participating in quarterly finance audits while complying with SOX regulations. Work on multiple projects, simultaneously.

Support programs from prototype phase through start of production until transition to production sustaining team. Ensure Agile BOM accuracy by working with Engineering teams, PD EPMs and WPCM during product development cycles Create, manage and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in Agile Create purchase requisitions in Balance and maintain invoice tracking and goods receipt Support the EPM teams with the PR/PO process in creating purchase requisitions in Balance, including interfacing with CM and suppliers, tracking material deliveries, and working with finance to GR hardware orders. Collaborate with EPM team for DRP and build matrix development and config management in Nimbus and general project management support as needed. Organizational and detail-oriented skills Ability to deal with ambiguity Ability to react to changes in a time sensitive environment Track budgetary expenses using Balance tool Create Purchase requisitions and maintain invoice tracking and goods receipts Learn Configuration Management using Agile tool to assign part numbers and create BOM structures Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) Manage materials schedules, deliverables and logistics Manage shipment notifications, Collaborate with EPM team in configuration management and general project management support, as needed

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or 3+ years of industry experience
