We are searching for an extraordinary, talented engineer with proven experience to join our exciting team of problem solvers and innovators.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GPU hardware architectures.
- Experience programming GPU/CPU models.
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Experience programming modern graphics APIs (Metal/OpenGL/Direct3D/Vulkan) is highly desired.
- Scripting language (Python/Ruby) familiarity preferred.
Become part of a team of Platform Architecture GPU Engineers to design and implement a sophisticated performance simulation model of Apple's next generation of GPUs for architectural exploration. Responsibilities include new hardware feature modeling, performance analysis, data collection and reporting, and architectural research. In this role, you will: Interact with GPU and system architects to influence key architectural decisions for the GPU and SOC. Develop a robust infrastructure to service a wide range of customers while maintaining software reliability and stability. Work closely with advanced content developers to prototype future use cases for Apple's GPU. This role is an opportunity to inform strategic decisions used to enable the future of advanced graphics applications.
