We are seeking a Studies Program Manager to lead human study efforts in collecting data critical to the development and validation of new health sensors and algorithms. Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven project management experience
  • Solid understanding of human research studies lifecycle and adaptability to varying levels of data collection requirements
  • Strong organizational and management skills with a track record of on-time project delivery
  • Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and resourcefulness to drive projects to success
  • Excellent cross-functional and executive level communication skills
  • Able to prioritize issues and track the details as well as be in touch with the big picture
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity — able to rapidly optimize across many variables to problem solve and effectively guide decisions
  • Experience working with and managing vendors and/or external study sites
  • Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting at a program level
  • Some travel may be required, up to approximately 10%
  • Experience in R&D or consumer product development a plus - familiarity with the changing dynamics of research and development will help you thrive in this role


This Studies Program Manager role interacts with a multitude of disciplines, including engineering, clinical, data analysis, regulatory, legal, business development, and other project management teams. A successful Studies Program Manager thrives on collaboration and consensus building in an ever shifting environment. Responsibilities include: - Developing, managing and communicating studies strategy, roadmap, and milestones among internal cross-functional teams - Ensuring regulatory, compliance and data quality requirements are captured in study plans - Providing strategic studies input into feature and product-level deliverables - Creating and managing program-level budgets and forecasts - Assembling risk mitigation plans; driving teams to decisions - Reporting and presenting to executive management on studies program status and schedules

Education & Experience

B.S. degree in biomedical engineering, any engineering discipline or human-research related discipline
