The Retail Apps engineering team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects that redefine how our Retail stores operate daily. In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of strategic programs which cut across multiple teams and functions.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an IT environment with an emphasis on Project Management experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple technical and business teams
  • Inspiring, highly motivated, innovative and have a proven track record of running concurrent projects
  • Strong leadership, presentation and analytical skills
  • Hands-on, working knowledge of software product development life-cycle and methodologies. Specific experience with Agile is desired
  • Champion for continuous improvements
  • Expert collaborator with the ability to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities; develop and maintain positive relationships cross-functionally
  • Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues
  • Able to assess & mitigate risk, lead change, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment


You'll be encouraged to be self-motivated, dedicated, solution and detail oriented, and act as a liaison between various functional units. You will work effectively with geographically distributed teams, be customer focused and flexible. You recognize that building relationships with business partners and technical teams will enable success. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and are consistent within the larger context of the program/project. Ensure a smooth, effective program introduction and implementation by coordinating support requirement efforts with cross-functional partners. Ensure initiative alignment with business vision, strategy and deployment within company. You will define the program plan/schedule and manage program execution. Deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process. Effectively and consistently communicate overall program status. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and effectively. You understand new technology while working with our engineering teams to define, schedule, supervise and communicate status of all work taking place within those teams. Understanding of software development and strong interest in user experience is a requirement.

Education & Experience

Bachelor/Master Degree or equivalent work experience
