The successful candidate is an experienced and highly motivated individual with a proven track record of successfully building compelling communications strategies to craft corporate narratives with a focus on internal employee communications. This role is also responsible for a team of communications specialists in their delivery of this work, while also following the Apple-prescribed branding and style guidelines. This role involves both management and delivery, working with the AppleCare leaders functional teams based in the US, EMEIA and APAC. This position will be based onsite in Cupertino, CA.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role along with experience in various communications media, procedures and concepts
  • Experience crafting and implementing communications plans
  • Ability to build both strategic and tactical plans that drive perceptions and deliver key messages
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of communication channels, techniques and new technologies, with a natural curiosity that leads to continuous improvement
  • Desired leadership traits are team building, networking and motivational skills
  • Decision making, analytical and effective problem solving skills are also preferred
  • Familiarity with web design and content management tools, as well as the use of social media as a communications tool
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and lead a team
  • Flexible, inventive, detail-oriented and a self starter
  • Deliver all work with a foundation of resourcefulness, collaboration, accountability, integrity, and inclusion


Coordinates the AppleCare executive communications team Build and execute an annual engagement strategy that helps key executives share a clear enterprise-wide vision and connects them more directly with internal partners Develop coordinated communications plans and execute deliverables to ensure key executives are seen and heard in venues that provide clear opportunities to engage with partners and shape dialogue Plays a key role in all areas of AppleCare executive communications Engages with the AppleCare Functional Leads, Marketing, People (Human Resources), Legal and other leaders to synthesize complex information into effective internal communications strategies. Provides advice and input to leaders on company initiatives in order to ensure alignment with Apple’s overall communications strategy Oversees a team of communications professionals managing long-term and real-time communications Participates in the creation of content for AppleCare’s internal communication platforms

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in English, communications or public relations
