The Apple Pay and Wallet team is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in digital identity to join us in the journey of replacing the Wallet and support Apple’s first party payment products. You will work closely with product, engineering, business operations, and others teams to bring great experiences to life. As our ideal candidate, you are dynamic, results driven, comfortable in a high-change environment, and passionate about building the next generation of Apple Pay experiences. You have an insatiable curiosity, are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy thinking about edge cases, and are a strong verbal and written communicator. We are searching for a go-getter with a high level of integrity, energy, and sense of urgency to “make things happen”. You will need to balance the needs of multiple teams and maintain a strong sense of empathy for your partners — while driving progress. This is a full time position with Apple and will be located in our Austin, TX offices.
- 3+ years of business development experience in deploying solutions associated with Digital Identity
- Experience in managing sophisticated partner relationships including significant communication, interpersonal, teamwork/collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proven understanding of the digital identity ecosystem, relevant to Apple’s first party payment products
- Knowledge of identity verification and assurance levels
- Proficiency with Apple products and applications is preferred
Engage at very senior levels with FinTechs, issuers or PSPs. Guide executives internally and externally through partnership vision and tactical execution, Develop collaborative and impactful relationships with a diverse portfolio of partners relevant to delivering Digital Identity to support Apple’s first party payment products. Manage scalable solutions through partners. You will be a problem solver with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs both inside Apple and beyond. Travel required.
