Fraud Data Analysts play a meaningful role in driving and supporting the evolution of the business, working in lockstep with internal and external business partners. They have a strong understanding of fraud detection and prevention along with experience in one or more related verticals (e.g. digital e-commerce, credit issuance, loss forecasting). It’s a hands-on, cross-functional, highly-engaged job. The ideal candidate works well in collaborative environments and demonstrates sound decision-making with competing priorities. They must possess solid business acumen, a strong quantitative / technical background, natural curiosity, and the ability to effectively shift between communication styles based on the audience (from technical peer reviews to executive leadership updates).

Key Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Adept at identifying fraud threats and impacts
  • Able to quickly identify root causes and mitigations
  • Experience in payment processing operations, business analytics, and operational health with an emphasis on customer experience
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets
  • Consistent record of operating autonomously across multiple teams and in a matrix organization
  • Collaborative, flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility


Analyze transactional data from large-scale distributed systems Design useful and actionable reporting Develop data visualizations to monitor production decision points and business metric health Collaborate with business partners to enable their strategy, influence change and articulate benefits of new ideas, capabilities, and tools

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) - Master’s or MBA a plus
