Key Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of wireless communication technologies (OFDM/MIMO PHY, 4G/5G Packet Data Processing) in the context of 5G-NR, 4G LTE or 802.11
  • Shown experience with board architecture definition for baseband and RF sub-systems
  • Shown understanding with FPGA’s and custom wireless IC’s
  • Deep knowledge of High-speed interface protocols – MIPI, PCIe, USB, Multi-Gig Ethernet NIC
  • In depth knowledge of Memory sub-system design – LPDDR3/LPDDR4
  • Solid understanding of RF sub-systems including transceiver, frontend and antennas
  • Shown experience of having led architecture definition in collaboration with multi-functional teams e.g., RF, SI/PI, thermal, etc.
  • Good understanding of prototyping 5G and 4G cellular technologies.


- In this role, you will be steering modem prototype system architecture as part of an organization. You will be responsible for Baseband and RF board architecture definition, analysis of requirements, HW component selection and vendor engagement. - You will be responsible for architecting innovative wireless communication system prototypes and development platforms that includes modem physical layer and packet processing and RF sub-systems. - With deep expertise in HW architecture definition, developing reference design comprising definition of baseband and RF boards, power and clock delivery networks, network interfaces and peripherals, you will perform power and area analysis and be engaged in HW validation and bring up.

Education & Experience

MS/Ph.D with proven track record.
