- Required experience in:
- Creating, deploying and maintaining micro-services using Kubernetes
- Improving automation (Continuous integration, continuous deployment or similar)
- Programming using Java or Python
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN:
- Designing distributed systems with eventual consistency
- Adopting new frameworks or writing common libraries to help increase the team’s productivity
The AMP Customer Engagement engineering team is responsible for building the platform and services that enable communicating with millions of subscribers every day, across services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+ and more. In this role you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the team’s server-side platform that is used to build components that process requests at phenomenal scale, with low latency and high availability, supporting many features across many of our services. As a member of the team, you will be encouraged to propose, design and implement solutions that’ll help increase the productivity of our team. This includes introducing best practices and driving their acceptance. You can do that by adapting existing frameworks, writing new common libraries or creating new automation. For example improving our continuous integration pipeline for deploying to Kubernetes or communication between our micro-services. Experience in Kubernetes and micro-services is required.
Education & Experience
