Key Qualifications

  • 3-8 years finance related experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex, data-driven analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms
  • Thrive in a fast paces, demanding environment
  • Must be able to think strategically on critical business issues, while simultaneously possessing the ability to act tactically to complete them
  • Proven experience developing processes and/or improving existing processes, with desire to inspire change across our team and Apple as an organization
  • Deep understanding of financial principles and theories
  • Some accounting experience is recommended
  • Ability to navigate through a large organization
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously


The Beats Finance Analyst will partner with Marketing & Sales to drive performance of the Beats business. Key responsibilities will include forecasting, monitoring, and influencing the financial impacts of our investments in each function. Business Partnership: work closely with central and local teams to develop strategies and implement for each market. Provide analysis of expenses and headcount, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook as needed to deliver business goals. Partner closely with Market and Sales leaders to articulate your analysis and recommendations. Reporting & FP&A: Provide executive level insights on outcomes and partner with corporate FP&A to roll up and own the spend associated the Beats business as well as the quarter end close process Influence various teams and be comfortable being a central point of contact for Beats across teams and geographies.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent education
