The Video Computer Vision org is a centralized applied research and engineering organization responsible for developing real-time on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies across Apple products. We balance research and product to deliver Apple quality, state-of-the-art experiences, innovating through the full stack, and partnering with HW, SW and ML teams to influence the sensor and silicon roadmap that brings our vision to life. We're looking for an exceptional software engineer with broad skills to join us to take part in our high- impact projects for Apple’s next generation products.
Key Qualifications
- Highly skilled in at least one scripting language such as Python / Matlab, solid background in C/C++.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in statistical data analysis and visualization. Proficiency in python packages for data science such as Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, etc.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
- Good understanding and experience in image processing, image quality characterization and specification is a plus
- Proactive, analytical thinking, excellent problem solving and communication skills

Education & Experience
A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related fields, with 3 years industry experience.
