To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:

Key Qualifications

  • Computer Graphics and/or Computer Vision background
  • Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra
  • Strong knowledge in photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction and camera calibration
  • Strong proficiency C and/or C++, as well as Python, writing clean and well structured code
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Understanding of SW/HW parallelism, threads, processes and asynchronous processing
  • Experience in GPU/GPGPU or DSP programming
  • Experience in low-level performance optimizations
  • Passion for delivering high quality software to end-user
  • Strong interest in computer vision and/or machine learning problems
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule
  • Excellent communication and experience working with cross-functional teams

Description

The Algorithms organization in Apple’s Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for a skilled 3D reconstruction research engineer, with a strong background in computer graphics and computer vision, particularly photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction and camera calibration. In this role, you will perform research and development work to design, implement, benchmark, and optimize algorithms for ambitious real-world problems in the domain of facial reconstruction.

Education & Experience

BS, MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering or 2+ years of relevant industry experience with a track record of successful projects
