Apple’s People Operations team is constantly striving to improve and evolve process. Our teams are renowned for their ability to implement a high volume of work with incredible accuracy, while still maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment. The People Operations I-9 Specialist will have a special focus on the I-9 process. In this role, you will strategize how to improve and continue to innovate down to the details that produce a world class experience for our new hires. The People Operations I-9 Specialist provides support services to a variety of People teams by completing various administrative and operational related activities, primarily focused on the completion of Form I-9 in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to provide an amazing hiring experience as part of the team that will develop hiring processes, procedures and tools. You will also lead critical elements of employment data and documentation and process complex data updates, partnering cross-functionally with teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of data within our HRIS systems. This position can be based in Raleigh, North Carolina or Austin, Texas.

Key Qualifications

  • You have deep domain expertise on the requirements around US Form I-9 compliance.
  • You’re an expert when it comes to data review and management, compliance assurance, and multi-tasking.
  • Your creativity allows you to independently determine solutions related to complex data and file usage.
  • Getting to know people is something you enjoy and you use this talent to build partnerships and communicate clear and relevant guidance. You have the ability to do this independently while promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • You have an eye for identifying potential risks and ability to negotiate when needed to maintain accurate and compliant standards across the region for both data and documentation.

We are a dynamic team responsible for data and records management of multiple countries across the globe. We align business needs and regulatory requirements to handle employment data and documents, process complex data updates, and maintain file storage. We process and maintain business-essential records.

Education & Experience

- 2+ years experience data and document management - 1+ year experience with focus on work authorizations, notably Form I-9 - Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday, etc) - Experience with Mac OS preferred
