The Retail Preservation Services collaborates with partners across Apple Retail Preservation to ensure our retail stores consistently represent Apple through the most efficient use of resources. Retail Preservation seeks to transform people’s relationship to facilities management tools and services from a fragmented, complex experience to a sophisticated, Apple quality experience. The scope of responsibilities of the team includes supervising existing-fleet reactive and routine maintenance, store and market communications, crisis response, and field service operations for the Geo.

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience managing a large, geographically diverse global portfolio of high-value or high-complexity assets including asset maintenance, repair, replacement, and operation.
  • Passionate people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and mentoring.
  • Significant experience working with a global or national luxury retailer or luxury hospitality operation with a high-focus on customer and employee experience.
  • Experience controlling the planning, staffing, budget, managing expenses priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
  • Experience directing and controlling the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers with the company.
  • Domestic and international travel as the need arises; plan for 25% with peaks and valleys as the business cycles.


Responsible for crafting the strategy, roadmap, OpEx and capital funding requirements, and implementation plans for Preservation related programs that impact stores across AMR. Leading, managing and inspiring a team of facilities management professionals to do their life’s best work every day at Apple. Building and maintaining effective partnerships with senior store leadership personnel to ensure alignment with store strategies and priorities. Developing annual fleet review strategy, in collaboration with internal teams, to ensure Preservation scope, prioritization, and budgeting needs are included. Overall performance of all Service Providers against established important metrics in your GEO. Coordinate the development of an annual budget in partnership with Finance. Working on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Supervising performance metrics on a regular basis to ensure that productivity standards and Service Levels are achieved Advancing major issues that could impact safety or business continuity to RDDM Senior Leadership.

Education & Experience

Post-secondary education and / or significant equivalent work experience in Real Estate, Design, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Asset Management, and / or Operations Management.
