The Apple Environment, Health & Safety team is looking for a Senior Level Occupational Safety Professional to join a dynamic organization committed to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our employees, customers and the global communities where we operate, while supporting our partners in their mission to develop amazing products.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of occupational safety programs work; international background preferred
  • Experience developing and implementing data driven occupational safety programs in corporate, research, retail and manufacturing environments
  • Domain knowledge in electrical safety, contractor safety, hazardous energy control, mechanical and machine safety, construction safety, code compliance, fire and gas life safety systems, injury and illness prevention
  • Track record in identification and assessment of occupational hazards
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification strongly desired
  • Experience with emergency response programs and incident management practices
  • History in establishing and maintaining EHS software and technology
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and organized


This position is responsible for overseeing Apple’s global occupational safety efforts from a programmatic perspective, including the following: - Coordinate the technical aspects of the illness and injury prevention program, electrical safety program, contractor safety program, incident investigation, and hazardous energy control - Advising on occupational safety law and ethics in locations where Apple does business - Assist in the planning and work process with regard to construction safety, design review, emergency response, and safety systems - Partner with EHS operational leads and other key team members to understand drivers of workplace-related risks and control measures. - Collaborate with operational teams on compliance, training, inspections, and metrics for occupational safety programs. - Ensure processes are in place to help EHS Operational personnel, Facilities Teams, Construction Teams and employees understand their roles for injury prevention

Education & Experience

- BA/BS/MS in Occupational Safety or Engineering Related field with 15 or more years of occupational safety experience - Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP or CIH)
