As Global Supply Manager - Renewable Energy Transactions and Investments you will partner with the Environment & Supply Chain Innovation, and Global Energy & Sustainability, and Finance teams to procure low-cost environmental attributes using innovative transactions and investments which profitably achieve Apple’s environmental objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Lead the origination, structuring, due diligence, negotiation and execution of transactions and investments to ensure Apple business and environmental objectives are met
  • Develop a multifaceted understanding of the key barriers facing global commodity renewable energy markets and forecast industry trends, identifying changes in buyer and seller market power to use for Apple’s advantage
  • Develop financial models of energy transactions and investments demonstrating extraordinary quantitative ability and ownership of key assumptions, accounting and valuation methodologies
  • Demonstrate quantitative and communication style to clearly communicate varying risk reward between transaction options and help drive leadership decision making
  • Perform supplier financial research, spend analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic renewable energy procurement for Apple and its suppliers
  • Coordinate with Environmental Supply Chain Innovation, Global Energy and Sustainability with other environmental, operations, procurement, finance, government affairs and legal teams to champion, drive, and coordinate renewable energy transactions

Description

Comfort with independently closing complex energy transactions and/or investments Quantitative modeling capability, familiarity with key assumptions, inputs and outputs of discounted cash flow analysis of infrastructure project financings Experience structuring and closing complex energy transactions involving overlapping financial engineering, technical innovation, and evolving regulatory compliance requirements in global markets, including Asia and the US Excellent project management experience; able to flexibly progress transactions simultaneously in markets, leading in various stages of pre-diligence, structuring, executive approvals, due diligence, negotiation of definitive agreements and closing Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; excels at building internal and external relationships Proven success influencing and driving alignment across cross-functional teams, resolving organization barriers to success and building consensus during the project lifecycle Excellent verbal and visual communication ability, clearly communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience Proven strategic and tactical abilities, able to influence colleagues and improvise to address challenging macroeconomic market conditions Quantitative ability to model project financed infrastructure investments using discounted cash flow and other valuation techniques Appetite for knowledge and ability to learn quickly

Education & Experience

B.S. degree in related field. MBA preferred.
