Key Qualifications

  • - Minimum 5 years’ proven experience managing trade compliance activities.
  • - Strong preference working for a global organization, preferably in high tech.
  • - Expertise in HTS classification, customs valuation and country of origin for import and export.
  • - Solid understanding of GCC customs compliance and trade regulations.
  • - Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both oral and written. Other languages are an advantage.
  • - Ability to partner, influence and educate cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities


- Support the management of customs and trade compliance operations of Apple in the KSA, Kuwait and surrounding region, including co-ordination of customs broker companies. Ability to engage as the primary point of contact for local Customs and other regulatory authorities. - Manage the successful delivery of projects ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach is taken. - Provide daily operational support in the clearance of goods and shipments. - Understand and manage a highly automated customs clearance process. Develop processes and reporting in line with Apple’s business requirements for continuing improvements in supply chain. - Ability to work with various levels of management and articulate information to satisfy inquiries. - Ability to manage and operate customs formalities in FTZ and other bonded zones.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related field.
