Description

We are a team of architects and specialists who are looking for an individual to help research connectivity solutions to enable a new class of networked services and applications. Networking, distributed systems and developing with system power and performance in mind will be central to this role. The candidate should be capable of balancing system tradeoffs such as power, latency, and compute, while ensuring maximum privacy, security, and user experience. This position will require the candidate to make use of their fundamental understanding of and interest in connectivity/networking and principles. Their specific duties will vary by project but will generally include performing research, design, analysis, hands-on prototyping, testing, experimentation, and modeling and simulation to address complex questions regarding design, security, and performance of networked products. The candidate needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, operate gracefully under stress, handle multiple assignments in parallel, and be self-driven to be effective in an environment with little overhead. The candidate also needs to show initiative and be able to take ownership of a problem area. Cross-functional collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is an important aspect of this role.
