Apple's RF Systems Engineering team is looking for a passionate, independent engineer with a proven track record in the area of Digital Signal Processing and System Simulation. Key Qualifications

  • We require experience in System Simulation and Digital Signal Processing.
  • Solid background in Matlab and C++ modelling of complex systems.
  • Experience with C++ development tools like IDEs, compilers, debuggers is required.
  • Know-how on SystemC is a plus.
  • Co-simulation of data and control paths.
  • Consistent record on modelling of analog and digital circuits.
  • Understanding of cellular radio standards is desired (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR), as well as key performance metrics for wireless communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written & verbal, are essential to have.


In this role, you will be part of the best-in-class cellular RFSE Team. You will work closely with TX feature owners, RF design teams and SW teams. You’ll drive RF innovations of cellular transmitters with uncompromised focus on leading-edge performance under real-life conditions and clear differentiation from competitive solutions. YOUR DAILY WORK INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TASKS: - Analyze the transmit chain by means of simulations (Matlab, C++, SystemC) - Exercise performance simulation of cellular transceivers - Drive the TX development and system simulation methodology - Development of concepts for compilation, debugging and interfacing to other tools - Responsibility for DSP block concept and development - Holistic system view on control and data path, analog and digital components - Close collaboration with product specification, TX feature owners, digital design, digital verification and firmware development teams: handover of specifications, reference models and block diagrams, and KPI analysis of DSP blocks.

Education & Experience
