Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience & project management experience
- Experience in hybrid on premise and cloud compute capacity planning, build out, and compute benchmarking (ex. Deadline, OpenCue)
- Experience in setup and management of production tracking databases and version control systems (ex. Shotgrid, Ftrack, Perforce)
- Experience building high performance hybrid cloud computing and storage, virtualization, Kubernetes, in service of media and entertainment workflows
- Experience programming in Python (C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift a plus)
- Scale out storage management such as NetApp, Qumulo, Pure
- Understanding and management experience with Cisco network architecture
- Python experience is a plus
Description
Your core responsibility is to provide design and operational support of on premises and cloud based systems with an emphasis on deployment, security, scalability and reliability running on public and Apple infrastructure.
Working with teams on the design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of infrastructure for critical projects
Serving as a central point for cross-team coordination on infrastructure capabilities and policy
Engaging in capacity planning, optimization, and right-sizing on an ongoing basis
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
