The Worldwide Developer Relations team at Apple is responsible for a number of areas, including crafting and managing strategic partnerships within the iOS and MacOS developer community, presenting development best practices and evangelising technology adoption. As a Partnership Manager for France & Benelux, this individual will drive and manage relationships with developer organisations in the region and get such developers to build innovative products that fully utilise key iOS and MacOS technologies across all key app genres, and ensure that these apps exhibit best-in-class user experience and feature sets. This individual will work closely with Partnership Managers in Europe and the US as well as local Product Marketing and Services to deliver apps for local consumption and also for the worldwide market.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional programming experience.
  • Development experience or overseeing projects with iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS, Apple’s Xcode development environment is desirable.
  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work under pressure and on tight schedules.
  • At ease dealing with rapidly changing environments.

Description

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Possesses a strong understanding of the App ecosystem, business models, local genres of importance, competition and opposing platforms, and ecosystems. Can build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate Apple’s platform message and benefits to developers. Is persuasive and effective at interacting with all levels of the partner organisation from developer to CxO. Solid understanding of technology and proficient with the key characteristics of iOS technologies, development tools, and frameworks. Results-focused with an extraordinary attention to detail, remarkable follow-through, and an ability to focus on customer experience and service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Driving availability of local and worldwide apps across key genres like Games, Entertainment, Lifestyle and Publishing. Driving adoption of core iOS and MacOS technologies like ARKit, CoreML, App Clips, Widgets, Shareplay, etc. Support developer technology adoption requirements, through efficient working with cross-functional teams at Apple. Working one-on-one with 3rd party software development teams and decision makers to ensure the products they're building are best of class. Presenting core Apple Technologies to a developer audience in an effective and clear manner. Identify key partners and develop relationships with them. Stay current on trends, the latest guidelines, and the newest technologies.
